Come and join us in the creative space of Cody and Sioux for a Thanksgiving centrepiece workshop with a western twist!
Mining material from found objects – horseshoes, bone, feathers, leather and other items, as well as a beautiful array of autumn blooms we’ll supply, you’ll create a gorgeous centrepiece that riffs off your relationship with the West.
Your workshop will be led by designer Sunny Barrett, founder and lead designer of Always Sunny Design, a boutique floral company based in the foothills of Alberta. She is passionate about creating unique and meaning floral experiences while using only the best botanical, materials, and floral art design. She is also an established floral design instructor with the Town of Banff.
WORKSHOP DETAILS: You are encouraged to bring your own inspirations to the table to help create a finished product that celebrates your connection with the West. Specifically, you will need to bring only a vessel of your choice – one that is either waterproof, or lined with a saucer. Examples include a wooden box, antique container or pottery.
Snacks and refreshments will be served.
September 30 – 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.
